ARRL Field Day is ALWAYS the fourth full weekend in June, beginning at 12:00 CST (1800UTC) on Saturday, June 28 and ending at 1459 CST (2059 UTC) on Sunday, June 29. The Northwest Amateur Radio Society will participate for the entire time period from the Klein VFD Administration building, as we did in 2024.
We encourage all Amateurs who are able to commit at least some time and effort to making this a club success. You do not have to be a member of NARS to participate as part of the club station.

If you are already a member of the main group but not the Field Day group, post a message to the main group requesting that you be added to the field day group. If you have not yet joined the main group, submit a request and you will be added. You are requested to provide first name, last name, and callsign in the Display Name field in order to to be added to the groups.io roster.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to directly join the group or sign up under another email address to join the Field Day group. That membership request will be automatically dropped by the reflector.
We need to fill each operating positions for as much time as possible. You don't need to be a highly experienced operator, just have an interest in making contacts and learning. Club members will be available to assist, answer questions, and provide guidance.
We will have the usual Get on the Air and Talk-in positions, of course, as well as a Digital station running FT8, a voice SSB station, and a CW station.
