NARS supports the use of the W5NC group on Groups.io. Enhanced features include the ability to embed graphics, format messages in plain text or html, and attach files. If an attachment is greater than 5mb, the groups.io site will store the attachment and embed a clickable link in the message. Additional features may be enabled if requested in the future.

If you already have an account on Groups.io, you just need add it to your subscriptions. If you don’t have a groups account yet, they are easy to set up and they are free.

New members first posts are moderated. Group moderators will lift moderation after the first couple of posts. We're doing this reduce the incidence of spam, because this is a well-known public forum that may attract public interests seeking advertising venues in addition to NARS members. While we welcome all who are interested in amateur radio, we are determined to keep posts on topic and family-friendly.

To provide a user experience similar to the NARS@mailman reflector, individual messages are set as the default. Individual messages are sent without waiting. You may choose a daily digest of all messages within the previous 24 hours or collect the messages into groups of 12 before being sent to you, if that is more convenient for you. You may change your mail delivery preferences at any time in the Subscriptions area on your account.
