About NARS
Founded in 1985, the Northwest Amateur Radio Society (NARS) serves the FM 1960 area and Northwest Houston. NARS became a Texas 501(c)(3) charitable organization on May 15, 2023, and actively supports community and public service events.
The club has approximately 150 members, with about one-third also belonging to the ARRL.
