Registration
- Register using your full name and valid call sign.(for example: Hiram - W1AW)
- If you need assistance, reply to the moderator's message with your information and request help.
- Missing information may delay approval of your membership.
Posting Messages
- Sign all messages with your name and call sign (for example: Hiram, W1AW).
- Keep discussions related to amateur radio and club activities.
- Political discussions, harassment, offensive content, or discriminatory posts are not permitted. Such posts may be removed and repeat violations may result in suspension from the reflector.
Replying to Messages
- When replying, trim unnecessary text from previous messages.
- Keep only the portion you are responding to and use where appropriate.
- Removing excess text improves readability and helps members with limited or slower internet connections.
Buy and Sell Posts
- Items For Sale (FS) or Wanted to Buy (WTB) may be posted once per item.
- Responses should be sent directly to the seller or buyer, not to the reflector.
- The original poster may post a follow-up message when an item has been sold or purchased.
Moderation
- New members are moderated until their first post is approved.
- Once approved, members are typically moved to unmoderated status.
- If a post violates the guidelines, moderators will work directly with the member to resolve the issue.
- Moderation helps protect the reflector from spam and abuse.
Event Announcements
- Event announcements should be removed after the event has concluded.
- For recurring events, use a general subject line and place date-specific details in the message body.
- Message bodies can be updated later, but subject lines cannot.
